You touch a tiny, nonmagical object that is not carried by another creature, nor attached to another object/surface. The target animates and sprouts little arms and legs, and is under your control until the spell ends or the creature drops to 0 hp. As a bonus action, you can mentally command the creature (if within 120'). If you control multiple creatures, you can command any/all of them at the same time, issuing the same command to each one. You decide what action, including simple commands (i.e. fetch a key, stand watch). If no commands, it does nothing but defend itself. When it drops to 0 hp, it reverts to its original form, and any remaining damage carries over to that form.
