If you cast this using a 2nd level spell slot or higher, add 1 die for each level additional level slot. Example: if a melee attack does 1d6+2, then this spell cast using a 4th level spell slot does an additional 4 dice damage (5d6+2). Using a 9th level spell slot, with this example, damage would be 10d6+8.
