This humanoid creature is an 8-foot tall ghoulish collection of body parts, stitched together into a single composite form. It walks and moves with a stiff-jointed gait, as if not in complete control of its body. It is wearing a ragged pair of trousers [flesh golems wear whatever their creator wishes].

The heart of a flesh golem is difficult to harvest, as the body begins to decay very quickly upon death. During the golem's creation, the creature is infused with an elemental spirit, traces of which remain embedded in the heart. The heart is useful to artificers and other spellcasters.

The final step of creating a new golem is to sprinkle the ashes of the manual of golem creation over the inanimate body. Harvesting these ashes can be difficult, as they are tiny and hard to find. The ashes don't retain the power they had prior to the golem's creation, but still have value in the arcane community.

Many harvested goods will start to rot and decay after a period of time. Below is a quick overview of how we determine expiration dates, and is used as a guide for most harvested items. Note: It is always up to the DM to decide on the exact expiration.

Most poisons are viable for about 2 week. However, each poison is different. In additions, proficiency with a poisoner's kit may allow assassins the ability to extend the shelf-life every few weeks (adding other ingredients to extend the poison's usefulness)

Usually a strip of skin, which can be preserved with some oil to last a little longer than other flesh.
Wings

While wings contain flesh, which rots quickly, the bones and leather/feather last much longer, making the wings usefulness last longers.
