This is a simple, wooden spoon, about 18 inches long with the handle engraved with circular swirling patterns. When someone starts to stir a bowl, pot or cauldron, the spoon magically begins to stir by itself. The mouth of the bowl, pot or cauldron must be less than 2 feet wide, and the spoon must be dipped in at least 1 inch of liquid for it to work. The spoon stirs in a slow, circular pattern. It stops stirring when someone pulls the spoon out of the liquid, or when there is less than an inch of liquid left in the bowl. The spoon is destroyed if dipped in anything over 500 degrees Fahrenheit (276 degrees Celsius) [such as molten iron, or lava].
