This is a leather sheath that slides over the covers of a book. This item protects a book from water and acid damage, even when the book is completely submerged. The book can even be opened while submerged, and will be protected from water and acid as long as the book cover remains in place. The book cover stretches/shrinks as needed. However, it will not fit on any book with a cover larger than 2 feet tall or wide, or any book with a cover smaller than 6 inches tall or wide. The book cover does not protect from fire or lava. This item was created by sea elves to transfer knowledge from the surface to underwater realms.
