This small magical container holds flint, fire steel, and tinder used to kindle a fire. Any normal flint, steel and tinder that is placed in the box for over an hour will become magically enhanced, allowing anyone to use the items to start a fire in poor weather conditions, as long as oxygen is present (will not work underwater). A fire started using the tinderbox is considered magical. The fire will last for 8 hours, unless it is completely doused with water or deprived of oxygen (i.e. covered with a blanket). The fire will not grow larger than the size of a campfire (if kindling is available). It will protect anyone sitting within 15 feet of the fire from non-magical weather effects (they will not get wet from rain, feel the cold of snow, and be protected from harsh winds). It will not protect from magical weather effects. After 8 hours, the magical fire turns into a regular fire, and is susceptible to the elements, and can potentially spread (if kindling is available)
